WEATHER SUMMARY: 

After an abnormally dry April, we've netted just over 3.3" so far in the Piedmont! The average amount of rainfall in Greensboro for May is 3.67". Only and isolated shower or storm is possible through tonight with a low severe threat. Tonight, clouds will begin to decrease as skies dry out, the low will be around 61 with the passing of a cold front on Friday. 

Friday will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers primarily in the afternoon or evening. With abundant sunshine, expect highs back in the mid to upper 70s. Behind the front, cooler and drier air will filter into the area making for a very nice and pleasant Mother's Day weekend. It will be mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low to mid 70s. Morning low temperatures will be near 50.

The normal low is 55, and the normal high is 77.
